Did you know that Jones has a High School Bowling team?
Do you have a high school student that enjoys bowling?
We are looking for students that would like bowl for Jones High School.
Practices are held outside of school hours, typically 2 times a week (1 night during the week (possibly Thursday), and usually Sunday afternoon). Must be committed to attend practice.
Practices begin in October (but could start sooner), and competition begin first week of December and runs until mid – late March.
High School Bowling is not a school sponsored sport but does bring recognition and pride to your school, like a State Championship 😊.
Each conference has girls and boys teams. (if there are not enough girls for a separate girls team, we will have a mixed team and the team will bowl in the boys division)
Each team consists of 8 members max (5 competing, 3 substitutes).
Conferences will bowl for 8 weeks. The Jones conference is held out of Boulevard Lanes in Edmond.
Regional tournaments are held to qualify for the State tournament.
