💚Proactive Planners💚here is the 23/24 JPS District Calendar
JMS parents: It has been reported that JMS is on lockdown. We are not on lockdown and are not in any danger. There was a stranger talking to students at another middle school in the area. Therefore we are going to stay indoors at JMS this afternoon and will not be doing any outdoor activities. Dismissal will be as normal with some extra supervision.
JMS parents: Since we are currently in a flood watch, we are going to err on the side of caution and cancel the dance tonight.
JMS parents: Today all students and staff will travel to the high school at 1:45 to watch the high school play. All students will dismiss from the high school. Students will ride their normal bus home, students going to elementary will ride bus 1, car riders will be picked up at the First Baptist Church.
JES is hosting an 🏫OPEN HOUSE🏫 for our 💚Longhorn Community💚 to come walk the halls & admire the New Early Childhood Center!

JMS track: the track meet scheduled for tomorrow (Monday, Mar 27) has been canceled. It has been rescheduled for April 10th at Kingfisher.

💚🤘Vicki Cosby🤘💚
Mrs. Cosby has been at Jones Public Schools for two years as the Reading Specialist at the elementary. She has ignited and fanned a flame of motivation through a sustainable donation of beanie babies as incentives the students desire to earn as they learn! The Beanie Baby Reading Buddy program has been a perpetual driving force for all students from its inception. She attends training sessions that help broaden and hone teaching techniques and is able and willing to share her knowledge with her colleagues. Her passion for implementing and sharing knowledge about the Science of Reading as professional development has grown instructional strategies that benefit all learners. We are
fortunate to have her on our campus working synergistically with everyone and has been a GAMECHANGER for Jones Public Schools.
